Case study overview

Bayleys Realty Group

Bayleys is one of New Zealand's most successful real estate agencies, operating across the spectrum of real estate activity.

They're well known as marketing leaders and deal-doers with research and auction teams that lead the market.

They recently came to us for a new visual identity - one that would work across all divisions and emphasise the premium service Bayleys offers.

Bayleys' business has been skyrocketing - they've grown from 31 offices to 50 offices in the last three-and-a-half years.

While Bayleys has been busy, their competitors have been updating their images so it was time for Bayleys to undergo a brand makeover - time to introduce a fresh, new professional look that would portray the company as the market leader it is.

Following an extensive review that canvassed staff and customers and appraised market competitors, we designed a striking new identity to reflect Bayleys' knowledge and leadership qualities.

Premium blue colours, a strengthened logo, clean typefaces and new photography guidelines combine to create a brand that's straightforward, confident, knowledgeable and serious about selling.

Our work has been rolled out across all press advertising, signage and stationery.

"I think our competitors have got something to worry about here," said John Bayley when he first saw the new Bayleys' visual identity.

Since launching, Bayleys property advertising has taken the market by storm.

By unifying the look of Bayleys' three product categories - Residential, Country and Commercial/Industrial - we've created an impressive cohesiveness that's dominated in all media, without overshadowing the properties themselves.

The new look definitely reaffirms Bayleys as the leaders in property marketing.
