How do you connect with what matters most for your customers?" Cavalier are a long established and successful listed company, they are a well respected and sector leading carpet manufacturer and retailer - both in NZ and Australia. The challenges they faced with their online channel were in creating an online sales support and validation experience which was more useful for their customers by being contemporary, compelling, engaging and meeting their needs in selection, evaluation and confirmation of their choice of carpet and carpet brand. Smart ways to find the right carpet for the right customer and their situation have been embedded throughout the site which makes the site a tool for potential retail customers and existing customers - as well as professionals and specifiers like architects. DNA worked through a goal-directed design process to define the users of the site, their goals and needs and ultimately how the site needs to look and behave to meet those needs. The benefits for customers will be in an improved range of customer decision making tools and an increased range of integrated touch points that support their customer needs. Key features of this work are; Strong compelling design making the '~mundane' into an appealing and enjoyable experience (in a bid to build preference); Innovative functionality including sample ordering and smart pathways to content including a user friendly search tool; Renewing the brand experience, reinforcing/delivering the Cavalier Bremworth 'luxury' market positioning and story; A visually attractive interactive catalogue to browse through carpet like reading a magazine. www.cavbrem.co.nz
