The Gallagher Group are world-leaders in agricultural electronic products and the Gallagher name is synonymous with electric fencing technology.

GGL had no animal weighing systems and wanted to develop these products to add to their product range.

The design brief was to assist with the design and development of the weigh scale indicator, both with regard to overall form and detail, with the user interface design and other operational features.

Innovations - The user interface with a large bold character display and a simple operating system. Easily set up and fixed in place for weighing operations.

The 'calm shell' case, offering functionality and protection, strong enough to be stood on by a cow, run over by a tractor or thrown into the back of the ute.

The product - Three different levels of product in the same basic housing, from the simple weight display with two buttons and a rotary selector switch, through to two display screens a numeric keypad, and two more buttons.

Sales to date have more than doubled the marketing expectation.
