Humanware Smartview Xtend 

Humanware is a company that manufacture products that improve the lives of people that are either blind, or have impaired vision by giving them the freedom and opportunity to read text, view pictures and also communicate with people.

The Smartview Xtend is a product designed for people with low vision. It is a magnification device that allows users to once again enjoy reading, viewing of pictures and photos and performing everyday activities such as balancing the cheque book or writing a letter.

4ormfunction provided a full product design service from concept to manufacturing implementation whilst working alongside the in-house Humanware electronics, marketing and production teams.

The product was launched in August 2006.
