The Waimakariri District Council is assessing all of its recreational facilities as part of a development of a Recreation Activity Management Plan. It is a standards document which will set out what level of service communities should expect to have in the way of sports fields, playgrounds etc. In order to display the information to the public, there was a need to develop icons in which people can easily identify with for the different types of parks and its individual facilities. Sevenzest created icons to represent the parks, reserves, sports grounds and facilities.
