Case study overview
Phone Simulations
These simulations were built to help Telecom sell and showcase their latest mobile phones.
Using a virtual phone simulator online, new customers can try before they buy, or existing customers can learn about basic and advanced functions on their phone.
When mobile phone customers go to buy a phone, there aren't unlimited working phones available for customers to try out and compare.
Equally, when you've purchased a mobile phone, not everyone is keen on reading the manual to figure out how the fancy features work.
The solution is a simulated version of each new model phone as it is released.
As the phones become increasingly sophisticated, so too do the functions - helping to demonstrate great features such as multimedia messaging (sending pictures, taking photos, adding voice messages, voice dialling and so on).
This key business tool has helped Telecom achieve an enormous uptake of key mobile phone features (such as downloading ringtones and games) in this highly competitive market.
