The Marketing Company Brand

The Marketing Company is a Dynamic, Flexible and Innovative New Zealand company specialising in everything you need in Marketing, Sales and Training.

In 2006 Clarity New Zealand Ltd decided to rebrand and rename their company The Marketing Company Ltd. They felt that their new name better represented their full range of services.

Their current logo and stationary did not fit the professional image and "wow factor" that The Marketing Company wanted to convey to their current and potential clients and a complete re-brand was required.

In order to make a clean break from the old brand they first undertook our brand workshop. From this workshop we established the expectations, personalities, traits and messages that The Marketing Company wished to express, and implemented these as the foundations for creating the graphic identity and brand story.

The graphic device of the dandelion represents marketing as the spreading of messages. The dandelion starts with the solid base of the complete flower, and the spreading of the message is represented by the departing of the seeds as they take flight to propagate the market. The seeds get more colourful as they reach the market to deliver their message.

The striking colours certainly presented the wow factor that the client was after, supportive photography of a conceptual nature also highlights the clients ideaology and reinforces the brand colours. This coupled with a clever design concept that requires the customer to physically interact with the stationary to extract all of the information from it has made for a successful brand that has created a buzz for the client, and provided them with memorable sales and promotional tools.
