We spotted a niche market opportunity and worked with our client Paint Aids Ltd. (PAL) to develop a range of painting and decorating tools especially designed for women. The category had always offered the same old brush types and sizes and during market research we found that traditional paint brushes and rollers were often too large and once loaded with paint, too heavy to hold, particularly after a full days work.

So as true market leaders, PAL spent the time and dedicated the expertise of their in-house brush maker to design a range that was light to hold coupled with ergonomically designed features. Fundamentals like easy cleaning, no bristle loss, no brush marks and comfortable handles are all part of the Urban DNA.

Urban has successfully been launched into the market and continues to gain market share.
