Webstock - Conference Branding 


The Webstock Conference is widely regarded as the best in it's class. One speaker said 'Webstock did for the web what woodstock did for music '" pushed the boundaries and opened a whole lot of eyes'. As a founding sponsor DNA saw the potential for Webstock to bring the New Zealand web community together to focus on the future of the web. Our challenge was to avoid creating '~just another tired, geek conference' '" to reach the widest possible audience group, and engage them with a common goal. The brand DNA developed is all about the value of overcoming constraints, a key focus of the conference (founded on Web Standards), and also for DNA. Webstock '" Code for freedom, was a theme expressed through a youthful, vibrant and challenging design. Our work has been met with significant international acclaim with many of the web communities most highly regarded designers and communicators rating the Webstock brand experience as the best they've known. It has unquestionably helped bring together an otherwise disparate and broad community and excite them about the future of the web
