For well over two decades, Coats Design has been associated with many of the staple Kiwi brands that are still with us today, consistently delivering fresh and viable design solutions for clients both large and small.

Our single aim is to create a unique and durable brand presence without being distracted and influenced by passing design trends.

From the outset, Coats Design was set up as an independent company. It means we're independent in how we work, in our approach and in our integrity towards our clients' businesses.

Brands need to be built upon strong foundations.

A clear design strategy is just as important as the design execution itself. Coats' experience with niche, national and export brands helps us combine ideas, research and good old fashioned 'gut feeling' to build concise and flexible design strategies.

Whilst we've specialised in branding and packaging design, we also have the experience of retail and corporate branding, in-store design and navigation, online brand presence to below-the-line brand activity.
